September and October are the best months in the year in order to visit the Caribbean coast,      Tortuguero National Park  is the most important nesting ground for the Green Turtles in the Caribbean area.  From July to September, thousands of turtles come ashore along these world-famous beaches to lay their eggs.  Tortuguero is a navigable network of lakes and channels that protects a great diversity of fauna and flora. It is possible to observe Iguanas, Monkeys, sloths, birds and much more..., you will love Puerto Viejo beach, if you're an animal lover, it's a paradise as well, full of vegetation and you can also explore the rain forest , walk and enjoy a trip to the jungle and be part of the experience to snorkeling in the Coral Reef,

Day 01.-San José

Upon your arrival to the International Airport, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to Colaye apartotel. This apartotel combines the charm of residential San Jose with the convenience of easy access to the city center, and Juan Santamaria International airport. It's located in the prestigious neighborhood of Sabana Sur, right next to the Central Park of San Jose.
Colaye San Jose offers a variety of accommodations  including private bathroom, cable TV and unlimited access to the Internet. Overnight Colaye apartotel.

Day 02: San Jose/ Tortuguero National Park

Tour to Tortuguero National Park. Typical breakfast included on the way, visit  to a banana plantation. Boat transfer to your lodge. Lunch. In the afternoon guided  visit to the butterfly garden and frog garden.  Dinner. Overnight at Mawamba Lodge. Mawamba lodge is situated on the Northeast area of Costa Rica's Caribbean Coast on a sand bar between the Tortuguero Canals and the Caribbean Ocean, an excellent location that provides direct access to the pristine beach and the canals. Nestled in the lush rainforest, this is the ideal hideaway for nature lovers and the perfect place to discover the wonders of the Tortuguero National Park. The Lodge is a 15-acre beach front property located on the right side of Tortuguero, offering nice views to the Tortuguero Lagoon and the canals.

Day 03: Tortuguero National Park

Breakfast. Hike in a private trail with naturalist guide. Lunch. Boat tour through Tortuguero cannals Dinner. Overnight at Mawamba lodge.

Day 04: Tortuguero National Park/ Puerto Viejo beach

Breakfast.  Departure to Siquirres to continue to  Puerto Viejo beach. Box lunch.  Transfer with the shuttle bus to Puerto Viejo beach. Overnight Azania Bungalows, Just a few steps from the Caribbean sea, with the tropical rainforest in background, the spacious and tastefully decorated bungalows are privately set apart amidst lush gardens full of color and natural beauty.
Designed and crafted in a unique style that blends traditional materials, exotic woods and thatched-palm roofs, with a modern building concept, each bungalow has a particular atmosphere. Each one comfortably lodge up to four people, with one queen size bed and two twin size beds, one of them placed in the mezzanine to provide privacy and wonderful spatial flexibility. All decorated with bamboo lamps and furniture, while ceiling fans, large windows with mosquito nets and high peaked roofs allow a refreshing natural air circulation..

Day 05: Puerto Viejo beach/ Snorkeling in Cahuita National Park

Breakfast . Snorkeling in Cahuita National Park. You will visit the many unique marine and terrestrial ecosystems of Cahuita National Park; its one of the most beautiful regions of the country. Its main attraction is a picture postcard reality of white sandy beaches, thousands of swaying palm trees, a calm sea of crystal-clear water and a live coral reef. In a glass fiber boat, plus Capitan and guide, you will be able to appreciate: 35 different coral species such as: You can practice the snorkelling for 2 or 3 hours, in different places of the most important Coral Reef of Costa Rica. After the snorkelling, the boat capitan will take you to Cahuita Point. Right there, if you want, you can swim in the peaceful and warm water of the Caribbean Sea while you take a refreshment of tropical fruits. Overnight Azania bungalows.

Day 06: Puerto Viejo beach/ Arenal Volcano

Breakfast. In the morning transfer to Arenal Area. The active Arenal Volcano is the Costa Rica’s most spectacular geological attraction. Overnight Arenal Volcano Inn hotel. Arenal Volcano Inn is a small hotel located 6.5 kilometers north of the Catholic Church of La Fortuna Town. It offers nice  rooms with excellent view of the Arenal Volcano.

Day 07: Arenal Volcano/ Eco termales hot springs

After breakfast, you will have a free morning to enjoy the area, in the afternoon you will visit Arenal Volcano National park and Eco termales hot springs, Eco Termales Hot Springs in Arenal Costa Rica is a sanctuary of nature and beauty that has been the life work of the Hidalgo family. The smallest of the Arenal Hot Springs, Eco thermales is geared toward privacy and relaxation and does not accept more than 100 visitors at a time. Visitors are invited to enjoy the beautiful environment as guests of the Hidalgo family not as walk in tourists.

Day 08: Arenal / San Jose

Enjoy breakfast, then you will be transferred  to San José.  Overnight at Colaye Apartotel

Breakfast and private transfer to the airport to your flight back home.
